Early Life

King George III was born to Welsh prince Fredick and Saxe-Gotha princess Augusta on June 4th, 1738 in London, England. George had a very strong disliking towards his grandfather, King George II and the policies he bestowed on Britian. Due to his predecessors, George I and George II being from Germany, he was the first British monarch to be born in Britian in a long while. The young George was very goodhearted but was a slow learner who was not fully mentally developed until he was around 10 or 11.

George became heir to the throne of Britian when, at age 12, his father Fredick of Wales died. Ten years later he recieved a message stating that his grandfather, King George II, was severly ill and dying. It was a shock to the young prince, but the people welcomed him with open arms.
